Online Services Cancellation Policy
Coach Builder Membership Cancellation Policy
If a Coach Builder Membership is canceled within 14 days of the date of purchase, all but $3,000 USD will be credited to the form of payment used in the initial transaction.
Coach Builder Membership Payment Plan Policy (Year One)
The Coach Builder Membership Payment Plan allows the incoming Coach to pay for their Membership in four (4) monthly payments of $3,000 USD and does not require the full payment equaling $12,000 USD to be received on date of purchase. An initial deposit of $3,000 USD is due to gain access to the membership and the remaining balance will be processed over the following three consecutive months, based on the date of the initial deposit. (For example: if Payment 1 is made on August 22, Payments 2-4 will automatically process on September 22, October 22 and November 22).
If the Coach opts into the 4-part payment plan to pay for their first year of Certification, Coach will be given access to a payment dashboard which will enable them to make updates to their credit card on file, pay off the remaining balance sooner or rectify past due payments.
Past-due payments will incur late fees, if not resolved in a timely manner. Late fees will be applied as follows:
If a scheduled payment fails one time, Coach will be notified via email. No late fee will be applied at this time. The system will automatically attempt to charge the card again 72 hours later.
If a scheduled payment fails a second time, Coach will be notified via email and a $50 USD late fee will be added to the total payment due. Coach can either log into their payment dashboard to process the payment manually or otherwise have the system automatically attempt to charge the card again 72 hours later, with the late fee added to the total balance owed (now totaling $3,050 USD).
If a scheduled payment fails a third time, Coach will be notified via email and another $50 USD late fee will be added to the total payment due (now a total of $100 USD in late fees). Coach can either log into the payment dashboard to process the payment manually or otherwise have the system automatically attempt to charge the card again 72 hours later, with the additional late fee added to the total balance owed (now totaling $3,100 USD).
If a scheduled payment fails a fourth and final time, membership will be discontinued and the coach will lose access to their certifications, tools and resources associated with their membership. To continue membership, Coach needs to log into the payment dashboard to pay the remaining balance in full (approx. $3,100) and a $1,500 USD reactivation fee will be applied and Coach will have to pay for the remainder of their balance in full.
One-Time Grace Exception Policy on Payment Plans (Year One and Renewal Plans)
Coach Builder HQ may grant a one-time grace exception for past-due payments on a case-by-case basis. This exception could involve extending the payment due date and/or waiving late fees on a single invoice.
If a grace exception is granted, the Coach is required to pay all future invoices on time. Otherwise, late fees will be applied to the outstanding balance and are expected to be paid as part of the invoice total.
If a one-time grace exception has already been applied to the Coach’s account on a previous invoice, and any subsequent payments are declined, the Coach must adhere to the standard payment plan policies. These policies include paying any applicable late fees or potentially facing the cancellation of the Coach Builder membership if all four payment attempts fail on a single invoice within a billing cycle.
Coach Builder Renewal Cancellation Policy
If a Coach Builder Membership renewal is canceled within 30 days from the start date of the Coach Builder Membership renewal payment plan, the Coach will be responsible for paying the equivalent of the first month’s fees. To be clear, renewal fees are typically charged on the 15th of the month that the original training began, or the 15th of the month that the original Membership payment was made (“Renewal Payment Date”), and if the Coach cancels within the first 30 days, then they will be obligated to pay an amount equal to the remaining monthly payments due within the first 30 days of the renewal period, not to exceed $450 USD (“First Month Renewal Cancellation Fee”); and these fees will be charged to the method of payment on file.) Any remaining balance will be credited to the form of payment on file.
The First Month Renewal Cancellation Fee is applied to:
(i) Administrative processing fees
(ii) Access to Coach Builder Membership resources for 30 days from the Renewal Payment Date
If a Coach Builder Membership renewal is canceled the 31st day after the Renewal Payment Date, no refunds will be issued and the Coach is responsible for the entirety of the renewal payment.
Past-due payments will incur late fees, if not resolved in a timely manner. Late fees will be applied as follows:
- If a scheduled payment fails one time, Coach will be notified via email. No late fee will be applied at this time. The system will automatically attempt to charge the card again 72 hours later.
- If a scheduled payment fails a second time, Coach will be notified via email and a $50 USD late fee will be added to the total payment due. Coach can either log into their payment dashboard to process the payment manually or otherwise have the system automatically attempt to charge the card again 72 hours later, with the late fee added to the total balance owed.
- If a scheduled payment fails a third time, Coach will be notified via email and another $50 USD late fee will be added to the total payment due (now a total of $100 USD in late fees). Coach can either log into the payment dashboard to process the payment manually or otherwise have the system automatically attempt to charge the card again 72 hours later, with the additional late fee added to the total balance owed.
- If a scheduled payment fails a fourth and final time, the Coach’s certification license associated with this payment is deactivated and Coach loses access to all tools and resources associated with their certification. The Coach also no longer qualifies to re-enter the program in the future at a discounted rate if they were exited due to non-payment.
- One-Time Grace Exception Policy on Payment Plans (Year One and Renewal Plans)Coach Builder HQ may grant a one-time grace exception for past-due payments on a case-by-case basis.
Coach Builder Reactivation Policy
If a former member of Coach Builder would like to return to the program, they can access discounted pricing during the 24-month period immediately after exiting the program. If the member seeks to return more than 24 months after exiting the program, that member no longer has access to discounted pricing.
Additionally, this discounted pricing is not available to members who exited the program through failed payments. It is only available to those who left in financial good-standing.
Coach Builder (Add-On) Certifications Refund Policy
If a refund is requested for any Coach Builder Add-On Certification within 14 days of the date of purchase, a refund will be processed in the form of a credit that can be applied to your upcoming Coach Builder Membership renewal. This credit expires if membership expires.

Guide Certification Payment Plan Policy (Year One)
The StoryBrand Guide Certification Payment Plan allows the incoming Guide to pay for their Certification in four (4) monthly payments of $3,000 USD and does not require the full payment equaling $12,000 USD to be received prior to the training. An initial deposit of $3,000 USD is due to confirm a seat in training and the remaining balance will be processed over the following three consecutive months, based on the date of the initial deposit. (For example: if Payment 1 is made on August 22, Payments 2-4 will automatically process on September 22, October 22 and November 22).
If the Certified Guide opts into the 4-part payment plan to pay for their first year of Certification, Guide will be given access to a payment dashboard which will enable them to make updates to their credit card on file, pay off the remaining balance sooner or rectify past due payments.
